My Approach to Financial Transparency
I believe psychiatric care works best when expectations are clear from the beginning. My practice is structured to provide thoughtful, unrushed, evidence-informed care in a way that is sustainable and accessible.
To reduce administrative burden and preserve clinical time, I do not bill commercial insurance plans directly. This allows me to focus on patient care rather than insurance requirements and prior authorizations.
For patients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement, I am happy to provide a detailed superbill after each appointment for submission to your insurance carrier.
If you have questions about whether out-of-network benefits apply to you, I recommend contacting your insurance company directly.

Fees
Comprehensive Psychiatric Intake (90792)
60–75 minutes
$325
Initial appointments include diagnostic evaluation, discussion of treatment options, and medication prescribing when appropriate.
Follow-Up Appointments
Most follow-up visits are approximately 30 minutes in length.
• Standard Follow-Up (99214, ~30 minutes): $190
• Brief Follow-Up (99213, 20–25 minutes): $140
Longer visits may be scheduled when managing complex conditions or making significant medication adjustments.
The appropriate appointment length is determined collaboratively based on clinical need.
2
Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time the appointment is scheduled in order to reserve your time.
Appointments are confirmed once payment is received.
Accepted forms of payment include major credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA cards.
Because insurance is not billed directly, full payment is collected at the time of scheduling. A superbill can be provided for out-of-network reimbursement.
3
Sliding Scale and Access
Access to psychiatric care is important to me. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available for individuals experiencing financial hardship.
Sliding scale availability is limited in order to maintain sustainability of the practice. If you would like to inquire about reduced-fee options, please reach out prior to scheduling.
4
A Note About Insurance
I do not participate in commercial insurance panels.
I may accept Medicare in select circumstances. Please inquire directly if you are seeking care under Medicare.
5
Cancellation Policy
At least 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed without notice, may be charged a partial fee.
